Men’s Health Blood Test

$233.30 incl. GST

What is it?

The Men’s Health Blood Test helps to assess your testosterone and hormone levels and how these may affect the conditions or symptoms you may be experiencing.

What does it help with?

The test examines if your testosterone and other hormone levels are at a healthy standard. Generally, males above the age of 40 start experiencing a natural 1 to 1.5% decrease of testosterone each year. Not all men will experience symptoms of low testosterone at the start, although this can be felt later on. Common symptoms that may suggest that you have low testosterone levels are low sex drive, difficulty with erection, fatigue, mood swings. There may be other medical conditions or hormonal abnormalities that can cause the same symptoms as well, thus it is highly recommended to check through the blood test.

What to expect?

Our trained phlebotomist will take blood samples from you – preferably before 11AM, but there will be no need to fast.

The results will be available in 3-5 working days, and these will be reviewed by a qualified physician. If any abnormalities are spotted and there is a need for a consultation, they will arrange a follow-up with you.

Who is this for?

Any man above the age of 40 or those who are experiencing the aforementioned symptoms of low testosterone levels can consider doing the test.
